My mom lives in Idaho now,... she has for many years. In the 12yrs that I've been living here,... she's been to visit 3xs. I treasure those visits greatly. Nothing compares though, to this last visit where she was here with us for Christmas!! Finally, my mom got to spend her 61st Birthday and Christmas with all her grand kids!!

The last time I baked my mom a birthday cake, she was like 34yr old. I had help from my Grandma Elsie,... it was chocolate with yellow icing dabs w/ Happy 34th Birthday on it LOL I will have to dig up the picture to share. I was very tickled to do this for her,... but it sure brought back memories too. I'm grateful for the new memories we've created though, that my kids could be a part of this.
